Now buy a kit from Taesung to show how much you like it.

... Well I just pre-ordered two kits from my usual dealer in Europe !

If you allow me, the photo you mention appears in the book by Willem Ridder "Countdown to Freedom" on p. 52 and is supposed to be Oberleutnant Horst Kerfin who landed with his men very near to the Feijenoord football stadium in Rotterdam, from where they hi-jacked a tramway car and drove it all the way to Waalhaven harbour, where they met up with other troops who landed by HE-59 seaplane.
I have gathered all photographic material here in one image (the photo the figure is based on + actual photos of Horst Kerfin + a portrait of Kerfin by Willrich) Kerfin was a Ritterkreuztrager by the way - don't know if he got it for driving a Dutch tram through Rotterdam or for some other brave deed...

Cheers, and I can't wait to get this figure, it's a beauty (y);)

Hello Mike, Beautifully sculpted with excellent details on the jump smock. A drawing of the Kerfin photo was in Military Modelling many years ago, showing him in splinter camo. I'll be ordering this figure soon. Excellent work Mike. Congrats, Regards, SG(y)

Thanks Johan!

So now everybody can see the photo that inspired my figure. And the caption, (once again) mentions Holland. Anyway, thanks again to one and all for your nice comments and even purchases. Also, watch this space as i am knocking more projects off the bucket list as we speak.....

Cheers!!

Mike
