Anyone tried DaVincis new Casaneo brushes?
A couple of weeks ago I visited my local brush pusher. They had just got some new synthetic brushes. There where some quite nice rounds from Raphael, but also some very very nice oval pointed DaVinci Casaneo brushes. Both the Raphaels and the DaVincis are supposed to be an all new quality synthetics, that are supposed to be as close to natural hair as possible. I've heard that so many times that it's hard to take serious, but these new ones where really excellent. Both the Raphael and the DaVincis held water like no synthetic brush I've tried before, and they released it evenly as well, like a natural hair brush. I will definitely buy a bunch to try, and it would be interesting to hear others opinions as well.
Not that I will throw out my sable hair brushes yet, but if I can find a more ecological sound alternative, I'm all for it.
