Epic, love the base for the Polish, it's going to be complex with all the branches, but will look awesome. With all the bits you get you've got to be careful you don't end up doing most of North West Europe in scale. The cap badge is a nice touch as well, I wonder if Polish cap badges are obtainable or can be made?

Cheers Simon

Hi Simon,
Really enjoying this and something a bit different I have not done before. Funny you should ask about the Polish cap badge...the genuine ones are quite expensive, so I've got a restrike coming from Soldier of Fortune for the base.

Glad the badge came in handy, will send more up soon. Those Dio Dump products look very good, will look into those.
Cheers

Hi All,
It's been a bit of a modelling nightmare this weekend. I was going to cast some parts and damaged the gauge on my compressor so had to track a new one down. After I sorted that out I started to work on a couple of the Para figures from Wee Friends, the weapons were so badly sprued and air bubbles not visible that everytime I had to make a cut something snapped or fractured. Handle, butt, trigger guard....
In the end I junked them took two weapons from my plastic spares pile and rebuilt the figures and it took a lot more time than expected.
These are the two figures in the fox holes. It's such a pity because they are nice figure poses.

I have also made the P.I.A.T. team, the wounded figure been dragged to safety and another Wee Friends Para. I have about another 4 or 5 figures
to build and once they are done I will crack on with the trees and groundwork to compliment the figures.
cheers

When one thing goes wrong it all goes wrong, typical but thats life I guess. The figures are looking good on the ground work, another 4 or five will.make it a very busy base.

Cheers Simon

Great work and well done for overcoming those challenges. This is going to look amazing with the other diorama(s....).

Hi Richie

Your going so well on these , Arnhem looked great and the Polish piece is really coming along well , good choice of poses and each figure and group tells a story

Hi Nap,
Thank you, the figures worked out well. Had to use them together due to the scaling issues between 1/35 figures.
cheers
Richie
