Hello friends. Started this classic piece from pegaso. One of the greatest figures i ve seen in all my years in the hobby. I was looking for decorations for the tunic and the hat but had no luck. So if anyone has any kind of reference on the subject i whould much appreciate it if he shared them here. Thank you all.
Regards

Very nice start Dimitrios. The face looks very vivid!

Are you sure about the blue though? Seems a bit 'royal' for the headman of nomadic warrior folk? I tend to picture him in more subdued colours. But I guess there's not too much evidence about Attila's wardrobe around so you can basically do what you like. :)

I look forward to following your progress!

Cheers,
Adrian

Thank you all guys. Adrian i m not very happy with the blue either. I thought about red but it seems like i keep repeating myself. I whould like to hear your suggestion.

Another sublime start, looking forward for this one too...

How many figures you start in the same time?

Cheers.

Thank you all for the support. Rodrigo until recently i never started a new piece unless i had the previous finished. These days i m in this phase where i cannot seem to finish anything out of bordom. Dont know if this happens to anyone else out there. Hope to snap out of it soon though.

All the time....it's incredible what I have in various stages of completion (not really the correct word). In fact , I even made a post about it with several pieces that I'm doing...but I got zero response to it...but you're definitely not alone.
Can't figure it out....I used to do everything right through to the end,,,not any more.
Mortality?

Phil it certainly feels better to know you are not alone. I can t explain this thing either. I guess when bordom kicks in and the fun stops there is now point in trying. This and the fact that there are so many beautifull pieces on the market it s a trap for which i fall all to often!

Great skintone and the red on the cap. I love it. If you don't mind please let me know about the materials you use on it. I like the shading on red and all you've done on the face.

Hi Dimitrios,

Believe me, you're not alone mate. I used to finish a figure before I started another one, but now I have a workbench full of partially finished figures. Sometimes I finish them, sometimes I don't. I can't explain why, I just lose interest in a figure and never get it back. Other times give up on a figure and then get a burst of renewed interest and finish it off.

If your start on this figure is any indication, I suggest you see this one through to the end. It's a beautiful figure and you've made a wonderful start on it. The face and skin tones are brilliant.

Hi Dimitrios,

I know what you mean; I always have to struggle to finish things before I begin to detour my time to pursue new dreams/figures... I guess it's just that it's much more fun to start something new than it is to finish something. And I always underestimate the time needed to finalize things; another reason to get dishearted before the finishing line...

It's too bad, but even in our hobby we need good old discipline!! :)

Suggestion about the coat colour? Hm. How about a tan colour? Or very dark red, close to black. Maybe would make him look more menacing...?

Cheers,
Adrian
