Bengal Lancer Question

Hello,

I am painting the 3rd Rgt Bengal Lancer Native Officer by Kingdom (#006) and do not know what color the cap pouch (I think that is what it is) that is attached to his cross belt is colored. It references the Osprey book on Bengal Cavalry 1857-1914 but I do not have this either. I would appriciate any help on this. Thank you Sean Downing

Sean, my meagre references point towards it being made from a dark brown leather......hope this helps. Nice choice of subject. Share the results with us all when it's done
