Hey Jason ! Thank you very much for the encouragement;I really appreciate it ! Yes,the World Expo most certainly filled my head with a whole lot of new and interesting figure vignette ideas. So many ideas,so little time. Arragh....!!! Cheers.
Kenneth.
Well guys, here, then, are the photos of the completed, but unpainted, groundwork. I've re-arranged some of the accessories a bit,as well as added an additional animal to the scene. The groundwork is a mixture of Celluclay and some weathering powders. The grass is an item from El Viejo Dragon which I picked up at the World Expo 2005. The rest of the vegetation is a mix of Static grass,Woodland Scenics "Talus",sand and vegetation from my spares box. Next up will be the painting and weathering. Thanks for looking and cheers !
Best Regards Always,
Kenneth  .
Looking great Kenneth....I love all the groundwork...but the work you've done on the figure really does stand out..all the equipment, the detail work on the belts and extra odds and ends look great.
Hey Kenneth, I like that whole scene a lot. Nice looking grass . Now just wait til you paint it. Make sure you keep us updated. I'm watching this for updates.
Thanks,Guy ! Yes,the "grass" certainly is AWESOME and so easy to use. I knew the moment I saw it at Mike's trade stand (Military Miniature Warehouse) that I had to get some to use. Cheers !
Kenneth.
Jim,my friend, thank you very much for the encouragement ! I'm able to pull it off with the grass only due to your concise SBS that you'd posted earlier on in your vBench. I'm itching to paint the vignette now and, yes, updates will be forthcoming soon. Cheers !
