I really dig this piece... great character, well executed paintjob! Is there a process to recreate non-metallic metal like in your piece, using straight acryllics (specifically Vallejo)? And would this technique work as well painting a polished steel cuirass?
Thoughts anyone????

Colin I think most of the guys use acrylics for there metalics and get fantastic results, Im sure there is an SBS somewhere in the forums,Im just to old to change but may be forced too as the humbrol metals are not what they used to be. ( what ever happened to if it works leave it alone)
