'Caught in Crossfire' Huertgenwald, Dec. 1944

Hello Guys,

Like to present to you my finished dio, as the figures allways tell the story I thought I might as well post it here
Situated in Germany, december 1944, Huertgenwald Region during the battle for Gey/Strass.
A group of POW's and their guards are hiding for the 'crossfire', whereas the tank crew crouch themselves to the turret walls and wait for the 'metal rain' to be over...
Allmost all of the figures are conversions, some light,being just an arm or head. Some heavy, with just some commercial parts and the rest MagicSculp/GreenStuff mix, which I like to use nowadays.
Also most of the dio is all made by myself, except the tank and the cart. All 1:35th sclae.
Painted mostly with acrylics, with some oils here and there

Having seen a fair few dioramas, this one really jumps out. Not many dioramas stand up to scrutiny, but this one does... superb.

I don't think this piece can be appreciated with just a casual look. The dedication and work that went into this piece is obvious. My only saving grace is that I only paint busts and 75 to 120mm figures otherwise I would probably just give up and take my stash to the flea market.
