WOW Ernesto, I'm speechless. Just perfect. I can't comment on something that could be done better.

Looking forward to see the rest of the figure.

Greetz,

Gino

Hi Ernest,

the hole figure is amazing !!!!!

You do a great job, congratulation !!!!

The helmet is intence and rich of colors.
The cape is beautifull. The leather is great !!!!

The face and hair are also beautiful.
But there is something I might say : when I look at the hole figure, my eyes go first to the helmet and cloths, not to the face.
Maybe I'm wrong , but the finset and most important part should be the face.
I dont say that you did not paint correctly the face. I mean that you did a really GREAT job on the parts around the head. So you need to paint a face lots better than the rest to help our eyes to focus first on the face.

Well, for anybody who read my post : I dont mean that Ernest paint job is not good.
It's one of the best paint I've seen here on PF. I enjoy looking at his work, and I also learn lots :)

But maybe I'm wrong, and I should buy news eyes

Hello Gary and JP and thanks for your comments :)
JP your eyes are ok my friend and you dont need to buy new eyes  you are right about the focal point of the face, should be the face the focal center, but not all the time, somtimes you see a figure with a helmet covering all the face but the hole figure looks fantastic, in my case there is not too much face or flesh to paint, because the helmet and the beard and thats why maybe you dont see too much the face as a focal center point...I saw some works where the face is good but not too good as the rest of the figure, for example the russian figures, an exceptional paint work but the faces are not too good and viseverse. I think is the way to paint of each painter...anyway...I apreciated your comments and is always a plasure to chat about these stuff..
thanks again

Well my friend,

I understand your meaning :)

I have the same problem with the Romeo Templar. There is not lots of face to make it the focus of the figure. But I tried.
You'll see the result only after the 1st September : Fun Painting Contest !

JP

Hey Ernesto, beautiful work especially the whites.
Are the circular marks on the lower back of the cape water marks?
Look forward to the finished product, I always enjoy seeing your creations come to live.
