I am a long way from starting a WIP on this but I could not resist an afternoon cleaning up and pinning the joints. I just wanted to see how it would look in the flesh.

Bloody impressive is how it looks in the flesh, this is a simply stunning bust.

Thanks guys, it really is stunning. Nap, only heart in mouth bit was drilling for the ramrod to go through but it worked out fine.

Yes Barrie, I am using the covered Shako. I know the uncovered one is more decorative but majority thought is that at Waterloo, he would have worn the cover. For me, this is one for Waterloo.
