Lovely work Ken. Very fine.

this is coming along nicely Ken : another great scene from you my friend !

Hi Ken,
Great painting, It's hard to believe if we did not know that these are only 1:35 scale. Skin tones, buck skins and accoutrements all spot on.
Cheers Richie

Very Nice work. Excellent skin tones

Pete

Thank you my friends! You are most kind.

Third figure done, one more to go. Hurray!

This warrior is poised to charge down into the mining camp on the first shot from the one behind him.

Thanks for looking,
Ken

looking great, Ken.
I do like the way you finish the groundwork first then add the figures, I just can't be that disciplined.
You're so fast- you're almost as prolific as Peter Day!

Thanks Neil! Doing the groundwork first, whenever possible, is a defense measure for me. If I do it at the end, I always seem to treat it as more of an after thought. Doing it first forces me to plan it out and give it the same attention as the figures. This is probably all related to my diminishing attention span at age 75. ;)

Peter is something else. I tend to get too easily distracted from the hobby to be that prolific. :)

Cheers,
Ken

Lovely job on No 3 Ken. Interesting to read your take on doing the basework first. I'm only a year shy of you and my attention span is also shorter than it was. Two to three hour session is enough nowadays. Awaiting No 4 with anticipation!
