Hi John,

I have several questions

1. What size is he?
2. What is the title of the figure
3. Who sculpted the figure
4. Is it resin or white metal?

These are all news items that each release should include.

Thanks

Sgt. Ewart

Probably is suppose to be Sgt. Charles Ewart of the 2nd. Dragoons, Royal Scots Grays who captured the color of the French 45th. of the Line at Waterloo. The sword looks accurate & well done, hopefully he has the plan black leather sabertache.

Both Ospreys " Wellingtons Heavy Cavalry " and D.S.V. & B.K. Fostens " Thin Red Line" give some accurate pictures of the Grays uniform at Waterloo.....

Classicae Artworks latest release.

Hi Guys,

This is called 'Charlie's Prize'.

A 54mm, white metal depiction of Sergeant Charles Ewart of the Royal Scott's Grey's, who took a Eagle off of 5 defenders at Waterloo.

This action won him his lift to Ensign and thr regiment thier nick-name...
'The Bird Catchers'.

Deep Blue Hero!!!

Regards,

John.

Great work. I am gratified to see one of the most abused pieces of gear in miniaturedom captured accurately for a change, namely the Grey's unique bearskin. Bravo!
