Colour match to Tamyia XF65 Field Grey

Does anyone know a good colour match to Tamyia XF65 Field Grey?

Hi Monty.

According to the Vallejo colour chart their match for Tamyia XF65 Field Grey is number 894 (96) but this is described as "Russian Green" on the Vellejo chart.

I was having trouble getting them to brush paint they were awful, they were lovely through my airbrush, however this morning had a little experiment using vallejo dry retarder, liquitex matte medium and vallejo glaze medium got them to brush lovely.

I never brush with tamiya , AB only and mask as much as I can , but I only use them for undercoating then go over with oils .
That is quite a concoction you have mixed wonder if it will work twice in a row

I have just had a disaster with scale 75 paints , after 4 coats I decided to do a final and off came the previous , so won't be using them again

I've never had any luck brushing them either.
I always squirt them.
Never used 75 paints Ron, I won't be bothering now.

You know that me and acrylics can never work don't know why I buy them every now and then thinking something might change .
But know matter what bottles and labels you put them in , they are all just liquid plastic at the end of the day , something i seem to be allergic too

I hate to admit it, but I've started using oils more.
For leather anyway.
