Thanks David, he is a bit garish but I'm quietly pleased with him. As for WW1, no I like to have the start of that war as my cut off period but I am collecting information on two very similar looking figures but from different countries. I also have a build going on over on the Small Builds Historex Group that is getting close to being finished, one stock figure I am painting and another of my builds waiting to feel.the lick of a brush. Got to keep busy, though I'm not going to get too much done next week, my daughter is off on her honeymoon, along with her in laws we are looking after the Granddaughter for two weeks!!!!

Cheers Simon
Oohhhh boy! You're gonna be busy, then.
I'll see if I can find your other WIP.
(Was just kidding about WW1, although the French army is a lovely topic ... just an idea)

Having a good sip of brandy and admiring that work, what's not to like?!.
Great job Mate.

Cheers Daniel, I finished the bottle, I really hate having to do DIY. Not going to get much done for a while, between me and her other grandparents we have our Granddaughter for two weeks as her parents finally have their honeymoon!

Cheers Simon

I will.post the finished article on here, just got to pick myself up by the scruff and paint the damn horse! I do like to see WW1 figures but I am determined not to stray too far from.my chosen period, I'll stick to what I like as opposed to the scatter gun method of choosing subjects I used to have, I'll get more enjoyment this way. It will also help my with my aim to not buy too many commercial pieces and concentrate on my own builds.

Cheers Simon

That looks fantastic Simon, it's come together really well, and thanks for sharing your approach to the bling, very helpful.

I have spent my time recuperating from the long hot drive to and from Faversham profitably at my bench. The Tambour Major is done.
