My conversion and painting camel from firm Verlinden.

Hi Martin,

Camels are very hairy beasts and they usually have a thick, rough cover of dusty, matted hair over their entire bodies, at least down to their knees. My only comment about your camel is that the surface is as smooth as a baby's bum.

The colour for a camel should be "camel". Its half way between khaki and sand yellow, with a light touch of burnt umber.

The camel's neck looks a bit thick to me. It should taper as it nears the lower jaw, but Verlinden seem to have sculpted it in just one thickness. Not much you can do about that now!

For a touch of real authenticity, try hanging a long slobber of camel spit from the mouth.

Will you have a figure riding the camel? If so, who? Please tell us.

Nice work, I like the colour of camel, a little yellow but is posible the adjust white in the camara.

Thank you behind comments.It is possible as though camel be truly a yellowish ,is painted gold ochre and greyed dark ochre and white.It is possible as though am colour well inestimable.What teak draughtsmen will state near camel,but isn't yet quite ready.After completing add next photograph.
