Thank you to one and all for all the kind words. As things turned out, I was unable to attend MFCA after all. There is always Chicago!

I think it's always wise not to rush a figure for a specific show. Good advice there.

Top painting by the way, Mike. But it's you that has to be happy with it.

This is your first figure after a 5 year break??
Your level is higher than all my paintingskills combined BEFOR my break. Looks good, but a good decision not to rush&ruin things.

This is looking really nicely painted Mike, the fur on the coat is particularly good, I was looking forward to seeing it at the MFCA, I was hoping to meet you, but maybe next year

It must feel good getting back to the painting, I am not sure you have many issues with acrylics that you would not be able to get past
