Perfect Jaume,

Can't wait to see him in the real, and finished of course.

What colours did you use for the hair and hat?

Greetz,

Gino

Jaume,
Excellent...really like the checkered shirt...awesome!
Your work is an incredible source of inspiration...Can't wait to see more updates.

All the best

Patrick

Wonderful work as usual Juame. I really like your re-do of the eyes. I do have a question regarding the belt buckle though and if I'm wrong I'll stand corrected, but if it is supposed to be 'US' isn't it upside down? John

Hey John!

When I sculpted this figure I wanted to make him a little more original. The South were low on supplies most of the time and they used Federal equipment anytime they had a chance. What they did was they took a US buckle and put it on the belt upside down to create SN to which they put the meaning "Southern Nations".

I believe the main reason for the upside down US buckle is that if captured you could be executed for impersonating a Union solder.~Gary

Hi Folks.
Some update on the shirt
I've finding painting this checkered pattern very hard.I never end touching up those damned squares, but, when finished it will be worth...I hope.
Anyway,a lot of work to do yet.
Best regards
jaume

Jaume,

I think this is a fantastic figure, both the sculpting and the painting. I have been watching this to see the finished paint job. Have you made anymore progress with the painting? I would love to see this guy when its done.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Robert
