Hi,

I've just finished new figure and scenic base.
Hope you like it..

the figure looks pretty darned good! I also really like the Mine warning sign. I personally would have forgone the green coral and whatever that white thing is there on the ground however. I think they create so much visual interest, they detract from the figure.

The painting is Really Good!
Shadows and lights are smooth,I like it!(but I agree with Jay about the coral)

I remove coral.......added some pices of british destroyed truck and little lizard ;)

Marcin, very nice result. Especially without the coral. Looks better this way.
What paintcolors did you use for the shirt and for the trousers. Did you use acrylics?
I have to paint a 1:35 german DAK version to. Did already one a few weeks ago. I like your colors so please help me with them. So I can use a different atmosphere

Yoshi I used oil colors for this figure. Only primer is acrylic.

my DAK colors ;)

Trousers :
primer/base color is acrylic sand color (Pactra)

shadows - raw umber,
highlights - yellow ochre and yellow ochre + titanium white

Tunic:
primer/base acrylic sand or sand + little green color

shadows - fir geen + raw umber,
highlights - yellow ochre + (mixed shadows colors) or fir green
next higlights is the same colors {yellow ochre + (mixed shadows colors) or fir green} + little titanium white

Shirt/Cap:
primer/base - acrylic sand color + white

shadows - yellow ochre + raw umber or yellow ochre
highlights - yellow ochre + titanium white or titanium white
