A Fixture
During a recent holiday ( a week off work TBH ) I worked on a couple of personal projects and this was one of them.
I bought this fellow for the princely sum of £7.50 at a local show here in the north of England and after a rummage through my spares box I decided to add the spare head left over from my Alpine Russian Officer from late last year.
I carved the star off and super glued an etched deaths head badge from Lion Roar in its place...
I spent quite a lot of time tidying up and carving various seams and folds to sharpen thing up...
Not sure how much it's improved things but I enjoyed the process of clean-up, alteration and construction which was the whole point
So here is the model about to go for a wash in soapy water ...
I added some detail to the Panzerfaust with stretched sprue and fuse wire and sprayed it all with Halfords Grey auto primer ....
I painted the head with my usual mixes and here its about 80% complete ...
And here the face is finished and in place for context ...
Updates will be irregular as this is purely for fun
