Hello again,
here my last effort, something new for me, a character from comics, the "Doctor Doom".

Pics of the process are not so good, just to give you an idea

Luca,
Oh man..that is so cool looking! (y)
I don't really know that character well so I can only guess that it looks like the comic book drawings. But wow! And the base really sets it off nicely.
Great job!
Is this going to be produced or is it a one of a kind?
Thanks for the pictures.

More pics here. Hope you like it, as usual any kind of comments are welcome.

VERY cool! A great departure from our normal diet of historics! Nicely done my friend! Great details. I think this bust is just the thing. I would certainly not let this one disapear. I would never torch this one. It might be a stretch, but I like it allot!

OK, enough!  ;)

Guys, thanks a lot. I discovered the comics world by chance after a suggestion from a friend. A week ago I visited for the first time a really, but really, really, really big store located here where I live, it was a mystical revelation...

Ha, ha ! Jay man, you are killing me, lol, well he could disappear soon, like a ghost, you know...

Bravo......... gradisco mucho ;)

Saluti MAB :)

Luca, my dear friend, the subject is not my favourite cookie as you know, but what great sculpting and quality of the resin casting work  . With every new bust you show us, you set limits further and further ...

What about your other projects ... ;)

Wow, now that I call a Dr. Doom! Super detailed, lots of character, great base, perfect sculpt. And you say the pics are not good? Heck, who cares! The figure ROCKS, on every level!!

Thanks to all once again, it was a fun sculpting it.

Yes, I noticed the thousands of characters available from that genre. It is like discovering a new world. Moreover some people take it with the same rigour of historical subjects, just take a look at this Iron Man armour database to get an idea.
