Dragoon, 1777 Tack

I need a lil help...I am trying to find some online sources where I could see how the tack of the Continental Dragoons, 1777 had outfited their saddles. I am tryin to add to an already exsiting saddle the details of the saddle and have exhausted my limited sources...any help I would appreaciate

I don't Know of any Online sources, but I found an old book at home that has a chapter on Continental cavalry saddles, bridles, holsters etc. If you are interested send me an e-mail. If you will be at the NCMSS meeting on Tuesday I'll bring it.

I have illustrations of the horse tack but nothing that shows how the various pieces go together. A lot of what I have are photo copies from other books. I'll post some of what I have over on the Uniformology section.~Gary
