Red Five
A Fixture
I had a frightful experience on EBay a few months back and it's not EBay's fault.
I was selling a number of kits. All went well except for one and it was sent without tracking. Three days after posting the buyer enquiried as to where his item was. I said it needs more time for delivery. Over the next few days he contacted me everyday and I reassured him if it did not turn up I would refund his money . A week after purchase he opens a dispute despite my promises which put my Paypal account into debit until the case was resolved. Despite me saying the parcel needed a little more time he became threatening. I gave him a voluntary refund eight days after posting and thought that would be the end of the matter. The post office says ten business days until it is lost. I'd never been bothered so much by a buyer and I have had things go missing before.
A week later he demanded feedback, and this is from someone who hides his feedback, I said I did not feel I can as he had been abusive and rude to be. He then became more abusive.
Three weeks later his parcel turned up at my place. He did not collect it from the sorting office . So I readvertise and the abuse and threats start again. I'm a low life, con man and thief apparently!
He went quiet after I referred the matter to Ebay.
Throughout this experience I managed not to be abusive or rude to him in any way. He lives in a very expensive apartment block in a city I might add.
Luckily I got my kit back and just received a negative feedback.
He's now blocked from my account.
Anybody else has a bad experience like this?
