thanks for sharing your work in progress.
You have made the figure look suitably 'grim' during a grim time.
The base you are building is impressive too; good composition, structure, and 'flow'.
IS the figure from Dragons "Night Fighters" group?
The box on his back was usually for batteries to power the Infra red light. Ususally there was a IR spot light on the Weapon too.
The back pack, I feel, looks odd as is. Perhaps it could be some spare ammo?
This is a very minor observation. The work so far is well done, finishes realistic, and details of camouflage neatly finished.
