Hello!
I am planning now to model my first Napoleonic Wars figure, a Hussar.
So, I would like to know how is the best choice, the Andrea Miniatures or Metal Modeles figure?
Any help is welcome.
All the best,
Fabrício

I have painted both MM and Andrea Napoleonics and both have their pros and cons.
MM have a broad range and are well detailed and historically accurate and when well painted are beautiful figures... but I find at times their casting to be a bit soft (especially in the faces) and the posing of the figures to be a tad stiff.
Andrea has a much smaller Napoleonic range and within that range they repeat the same uniform in a different pose. For me they sometimes break down the figs into more smaller parts than seem to be needed. On the plus side, I enjoy the more dynamic poses, especially their dioramas in this range and find the casting to be very crisp.

All that being said, if I had to choose between the two figs pictured, I would choose the MM figure as I prefer the uniform of that figure. To that end, I choose each figure on it's individual merits and whether or not it appeals to me visually... with no particular brand loyalty in mind.

Good luck

Colin

PS- Pegaso also has a fantastic Napoleonic range as well ;)

Hello, guys!
Thank you very much for the help. :) I believe the "winner" is MM figure.
Regards,
Fabrício
