Hi all,

here a figure sculpted by my friend Greg Girault (Mister Greg).
I have the resposability to paint it :) . It will be our second work team. (the first was the injuried french Garde Mobile from the same period).

I just undercoated the baseground, not the figure.

I prefered to do my own baseground (after asking Greg) instead of using the "official" one.
We decided to try to represent Paris street with a small wall of stones to defend.

I have to finish some minor preparation on the figure. But I can start soon to paint the base.

Thx for the comments !

You're right Janne,

that's because the figure is not glued yet. It only putted in the pins and holes. So the figure moves when I turned the base to take pics.......

I'll be carefull when I'll glue the figure to the base, after finishing painting :)

Hi again :)

Here a small update :

etape5.jpg

I started the paint session with glazes of Burnt Umber and Cassel Earth to emphazis and make easier reading of the shades.

And then, even with the glazes not dry, I started to paint some rocks.

My color mix are :

-BASE : Raw Umber + Titanium White + few UltramarBlue.
-Lights : Flesh Teint, Titanium White.
-Shades : Burnt Umber + Greenish Umber + few Burnt Sienna + few Deep Blue

To make the rocks looks less poor, I will paint some rock (few) with a different base mix color : Raw Umber + Titanuim White + Burnt Sienna.

I nearly paint one rock after another........ longer, but better result (I hope)......

Of course, when all the base will be finished, and also the figure, I will still add some dusts and pastels.

You can notice that the figure is not finished. There is some minors preparations and fixing....
