WIP From Sharpe's bust set.

Excellent work Geoff. I think all three came out quite well. I like your rifle green and the lacework on Sharpe looks very good and I wouldn't mind learning your mixes for the rifle green. I do have one question though on the Harper bust. Shouldn't Harper's collar be black piped white rather than rifle green?

Many thanks, the base of the Rifle Green is Vallejo 975/089 Military Green, then I used a very weak wash of docrafts ARTISTE Acrylic Jungle Green.

I will check on the collar piping but the photo I have doesn't show it as white, but it is head on and with the collar open, I will see if I can find him at a different angle.

I had found another pic and there is no red around the chevron, so will leave it as I have done it and just paint the white around the collar.

I've done a bit more research and found that the collar and epaulettes were the facing colour, so I painted them not quite black. It is sometimes difficult to see the change of the colours with such dark uniforms, well that's my excuse.

I know Mick, the "Zulu" trio I really had no option, but the "Sharpe" ones are so much more as per uniform regs.
