Thanks Barrie, I've done a bit more but was rushed into hospital for a day but home now some work continues, hopefully progress pics later.

Nearly finished, I had to thin down the waist belt ends of the sword and Sabretache straps and bend them to the right angle on a dry run fitting. Shako plume fitted, pelisse front glued into place, AFTER the straps fitted in place and then when dry the rear section attached. A few more odds and sods to do as well as a minimal amount of touching up then it can go on the base.

I'm really pleased with him, and it makes a change to do a complete figure.

Great Job ,all round. Glad you' re feeling better , hospitals not the best of places to be.
Nurse' s don' t like getting paint on the bed sheets. LOL.
Just love it . You make it look so easy . Interest how you fitted the pelisse, would never thought of that.
You leant some thing new every day.
Give your self a pat on the back.

OH ! P.S.
What ground work are you thinking off?
Barrie(Newbee)

Thanks, the pelisse needs to match up with the cords around the neck and has to be quite a snug fit, look at the pic on the box to get the right angle.

The ground work, I shall paint up the metal base and just add some commercial grass tufts fix with CA glue, the stones moulded in the base will be highlighted, keep it simple.
