I managed to pick up this Atelier 75mm figure of General Jean-Andoche Junot at the Tank Museum Model Show yesterday at a very reasonable price.
He is made in white metal so quite a heavy figure, I have given him a bit of a cleanup but he didn't need that much, and given him a good soapy was so tomorrow I shall get the primer out and given him a few light blasts.

I'm really looking forward to painting this rather colourful figure.

Ages since I’ve been there but Tank Museum AND model show? Sounds like a perfect day out. Good luck with this beautiful figure. I’m sure you’ll do it proud.

Jeff

Thanks Jeff, I am a volunteer modeller at the museum so our group had a good display to show the visitors during the 2 day show, I only attended on the Saturday and it was a super day, lots of visitors and some lovely models on the club stands that attended.

I' V got this figure to paint, so will be watching how you get on . These are really great 75mm figures to paint. Done a couple and have others in G.A. awaiting the paint brush to get started.
Good luck look forward to up dates .

A complicated uniform but I know you'll handle it very nicely!

Looking forward to your progress Geoff, (y)

I am sure you will do it justice Geoff. I dips my lid to you - that one is way beyond my capabilities.
Chris

Many thanks Ken and Chris your messages have given me a nice bit of encouragement, thanks again.
