That's the annoying thing about "limited editions": Often they're not widely publicised, you can only order them inside a very short time window and you only become aware of them once it's too late.

Not my usual area of interest but I do like this one (great pose) and would have been very tempted.

Great start on a very imposing and original piece.

I agree re. Limited editions Steve. I’m not very plugged into FB so I owe Nap for the timely heads up on this one.

Hi Colin

Nice to see you sharing this , it’s certainly a finely sculpted figure , that lacework looks incredibly fine

Hi Steve, sorry you missed it, unfortunately the usual shelf selling method is not affordable for me. I always try to be attentive to the customer's needs with a flexible service, for the next editions I will also publish the announcements on the PF pages.

Thanks for responding Ricky. If that selling model is the one that works best for you that's fine and I fully understand. I'll keep an eye out for your future releases. (y)

Update. A little bit further along. Face is not finished yet. Playing with showing his teeth….haven’t decided yet.

Hi Colin

Nice to see you back with this , hope you all had a good time with guests

Nice start on the collar ...I keep looking at the details sculpted on the lace and the bicorne and epaulettes...so cleanly done , hard to believe this is 75 !

Look forward to seeing more

A bit more done on his embroidered collar and coatee painted. I painted his coatee using a cut down make up sponge. I wasn’t sure it would work at 75mm scale but no problems. The unifying diluted indigo ink wash I flowed over the jacket can be seen…still wet in areas. Still playing with the face tones.

Hi Colin

Nice to see this progressing well , the sponging works well , do you use inks and paint in shadows as well ?

Will the inks dry Matt or with a satin look ? ......do you use a Matting agent if needed ?

Thanks for sharing

Looking forward to seeing more
