fabulous painting, I like dirtening of cloak, but the face is striking out and catching eyes. The black and white photo looks like the historical photograph from those days of war. One masterpiece, my friend. If you won´t mind to tell us your receipt on how you made snow, looks extremely realistic,

About the snow:
I mixed Soda with Vallejo Water Effect. After all was dry I had applied a wash of raw umber based on White Spirit (1:9). Then I applied once again snow here and there to make contrast between dirt snow and pure white.
