Hi there,

I've managed to complete this figure just in time before the exibition in Kulmbach: I've painted until Wednesday night to take it with me on Thursday early morning... crazy, eh?

Anyway, it was done in oils over acrylics and taking photo's is still a pain to me.

Thanks to all of you, it was overwhelming to read so many positive comments!!!

Beautifully done Goetz, love the metals...and the fungi.
Nice piece.
Lovely painting and that groundwork is simple, but superb.
I really like the fallen leaves and fungi. Awesome stuff!
The fungi werde done from the rest of Magic Sculp, that normally ends as rubbish on the table after filling some gaps. I took some wire pieces and covered them with MS or did tiny round lenses, when some of this "possible" waste occured. In this way you can do a whole fungi farm over the time... :)

Love your subtle shading , beautiful ! The groundwork also looks great , where did you get the leaves ?
These leaves are from Plusmodel and are meant for 1/35 scale, but they work with larger figures, too.

Beautiful work overall. Personally I would like some more contrast on the fleshtones.

Xenofon

Actually there is a little bit more of contrast, even in the highlight areas, but I wasn't able to bring this in with my photography. But you're right Xenofon, I would like to some more contrast, too.

Again, thanks to all of you!

Cheers
