Progressing

Very nice progress, I take it the rest of the lace and fringed eppulets etc are all done without metallic paints?

Cheers Simon

Will be yes. Epaulettes are just base coated so far. I may wash the metallic thread items with a highly diluted silver ink. But that decision is to come after the cuirass is done.

Like you I think NMM belongs on small figures, though doing the lace like this makes more sense than metallic paints.

Cheers Simon

Thanks Kev. It’s hard to decide how often to post updates. It’s a contest between showing major SBSs and spamming the site.

You post as and when you feel right ......liking the way you do the pics all together

The cuirass is a good start ...I am sure there’s much more work planned

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

I like the idea of posting a single grid of pics with various views. I might adopt this as my norm.

There might be a break in the action as we just said good bye to a treasure cat after almost 17 years.

Thanks Nap.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your cat. Having lost two of mine this year of similar ages I can only sympathise.
Melanie

Sorry for you Melanie. I’ve lost 4 in the last 2 years. Mom and two offspring aged 17 and 15-16 respectively. We have 3 new rescues but so very hard. Thanks

Commiserations on the loss of your cat(s), I have eight at the bottom of my garden now, all dearly loved, even the still born kitten, and fondly remembered. I have just the three now, mum and two kittens (eleven years old) none of whom get along together!

I'll be watching how you do the cuirass with interest as I have two possibly three to do.

Cheers Simon
