It is a fabulous, old fashion military museum crammed with all kind of goodies. There is even the blood stained saddle & shabraque of a French general (Duheme ?) from Waterloo. Enjoy Simon.
Yes I'm gutted that I couldn't get there but I think we'll be visiting Leuven even after my youngest has finished his masters. It's expensive (4.5 euros for a small beer) but we love it there and it's only a short train ride and an uber to the museum. Of course once I've done that there will have to be a trip to Paris!!It is a fabulous, old fashion military museum crammed with all kind of goodies. Well at the risk of offending the French there are some pretty costumes and pointy sticks in a building over there!!Is there a military museum in Paris?
Cheers Nigel, that is the hope that I can make the horses look like they are in motion.Excellent animation of the horsehair, it will add to the sense of movement.
Many thanks David, if I can pull it off on all three figures I'll be pleased.Nice work!! That looks superb.
Many thanks Malkie, just writing about what I do makes me think more about it and enhances my learning so I happy it is of benefit to others. Shared knowledge and experience is a real strength of this site.I applaud your ingenuity, I'm learning a few more tricks everyday.
Malkie
Cheers Aris, as work on the General is coming to a close I'm pulling together the bits for the next figure. Got to admit it's going quicker than I thought it would. This is turning into an epic scene.Well done Simon.
Oda.
Cheers Malc, now all I have to do is get the other two doing the same!!As already said, you've achieved good movement with the horsehair.
Malc
