Hi everyone,

Forgive my ignorance if this has cropped up previously but I'm trying to source the thin metal sheet/strips that some manufacturers provide in their kits for making things such as reins, slings, straps etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction- I've previously spoken to Pedee at one of the shows and seemed to recollect something about fishing supplies but my memory is like a sieve.

It would be for figures between 54mm and 120mm assuming there may be different thicknesses to suit the relevant scale.

Many thanks,

Cannonball.

Thanks Paul- I resemble that remark! I knew I could rely on you.

Anytime I also use pvc electrical tape

Take a length of it, carefully fold over onto itself to double thickness and slice to form the right width against a steel rule.

Or remove the glue with white spirit, tape it down at each end onto your cutting board, and again slice to length.
