Hi,
With the latest advice from the UK tourist office recommending that Tunisia is now a no go area I started thinking about what will happen to the war graves out there (my great uncle is buried in Sfax cemetery). Hopefully they will continue to be looked after well and won't become the target of any fundamentalist activity unless things get much worse - but visiting the cemeteries seems out of the question for the moment. I had wanted to go but am now thinking this could never happen (I was actually nearby Sfax years ago on holiday but it was before I knew where my uncle was buried).
Anyway this morning I found a great service -

Here you can search for your relative to find a photograph of their headstone. You can then request a print for a small donation.
It was quite something to discover this after it being talked about in my family for so long and never been seen before.
