Thanks to everybody for the kind comments and likes!

Zastrow Cuirassier, thanks for the great photos! Most of those are new to me.

I will take a look at the helmet - it is not finalized anyway. But I must admit that, while I have done a few WWII German helmets, the differences between it and the WWI version are hard to put a finger on just looking at photos. The deeper angled rim is obvious. Is the WWI version actually bigger than the WWII? I cannot tell from photos and have yet to see photos showing the two helmets together for comparison.

Can anybody help with this?

Cheers!!

Mike

Thanks for your interest.
Concerning the 1916 German Helmet, perhaps the best link for it (but sorry in french) :

Hope it will help you!

In the Mac/Reedees pictures is a little bit clear the size difference
between WWI and WWII helmets.
Good illustrations for comparison.
Regards.

Great set of figures, Mike (y)(y)(y)(y)(y)! They will definitely do justice to the Meng A7V kit (which itself is a fully-detailed beauty; I know because I have already gotten a set :p)
Looking forward to ordering the whole range when they become available ;).
Cheers!
Kenneth.

Not my scale or era but getting these one way or another. One of the best in the business and conveying a vibe through body language.

Neat to see these little guys mate.
Smooth lines especially on the little guy with crop.
Be tempted to paint these up one day but how about a few ANZACs ;)

Stay safe

Kiwi Mike

And here is another update: the third figure is a finished. Note also that I have reworked the helmet - as shown on figures no. 2 and 3. Both figures will have optional heads for hat and helmet......

Here, again is the "inspiration pic" which shows the poses for these two figures.

Thanks for looking!

BTW, at my snails pace for producing figures, doing 18 of them would take years. Sorry, you are on your own there. But here are three to get you started.....
