Ah but are you allowed to use the bow in the middle of town!?

Cheers Simon

Lol. No, we're not. I wouldn't shoot them anyway. There are so many here they're becoming "urban". Lol. I don't hunt much anymore (except coyotes) because I have friends that give me more venison than I can eat in a year.

I enjoy seeing them in my yard but they eat my wife's flowers! I still shoot my bow often because I like it. I'm at the gun range often as well where we also have to pause shooting so deer and turkey can do their thing.

We have deer but mostly seen dead on the side of the road, foxes of course although mine is pissing me off, I feed her every night but she has started going overboard scent marking everything, it stinks.

Wildlife is wonderful (I'm an ecology graduate). And I agree with Simon about shooting an animal if you're going to eat it.
Deer and foxes (peeing in) in the garden sounds fantastic.

Not when the damned thing pees in the bowl I feed her with it isn't. Urban foxes don't generally live long so we get a high turn over, waking up to four foxes sleeping on the lawn waiting for breakfast is better. However it can get expensive!

I'm still working on the Yankee. Getting towards the end of shading, in shorts bursts as time and light permit.
Once it's stuck together and tidied up, I'll take a snap and put it on here before commencing highlights (aargh!).

Chosen to take a photo in awful light conditions.
But I think the shading is basically done.
Grass and highlights remain, along with final construction of course.

Very good indeed, the shading is so good, certainly the trousers don't look like they need very much in the way of highlights. This fellas going to be pretty awesome.

Cheers Simon

Are you going to add a little weathering to the bottom of the trouser legs?

Flesh and hair: I'll review the former at the end and decide whether more shading is needed.
Hair will be highlighted.
Bear in mind that the phone camera is a load of crap, and doesn't recreate the actual piece well at all.
I'm haarrdd to please, and am happy with the face, currently (he's a ginger-nut, after all).

Hi David

You’ve done a nice job on the highs , very subtle

Definately coming together well now
