Thank you mate, the plastic is a bit soft around the seam line so need to redo the detail with a scalpel. It’s a bit of a boring Job but gives you a feel for the whole figure.

I had to Google Willie and Joe, not really the same. They were a machine gun crew where the gunner wouldn’t ever let the bigger lad have a go with his gun, it was a bit technical for him.

Finished today, love Charley’s War (battle comics) for the inspirational writing of Pat Mills and the magnificent drawing of Joe Colquhoun. Both taught me to read and think and inspiration for my WW1 model making ideas today.

Thank you mate, it was a huge honour for Pat Mills to comment positively on the work, also had some lovely comments from people on the Battle (comic) fan, site all Charley’s War enthusiasts.

In a way I always find the feedback from non modellers intriguing, they look at the work with fresh eyes but with no concept of the effort in making, as it should be with art. Modellers know the effort taken but judge by their own experiences, so it’s a great to have that variety of feedback.
