Hi,
I finished three JGSDF figures for a Type82 vehicle vignette.
The figures are Tamiya, heads from Hornet eastern head set, and I added the mustash from green-stuff. The faces were painted in oils, and the uniforms in Humbrol.
I'm afraid the pictures are a bit too bright.

It was so fun to paint, I still have problems shading camo uniform, I tried to shade them with thinned oils, and I may need to thin them more.

I'll also need to improve on addind thin lines on the pouches for instance.

I would like to get better for next figure so your feedback is welcome :).

Very good paintjob eyal.I like your color piick.I have found out that when trying to paint complex patterns on clothing or camo it is good to extreme highlight and shade the basic color of the cloth to decieve the eye that the final camo is highlighted.

eyal,
nice work. I think the camo is pulled off nicely. I agree it may need more highlight and shadow, but over all a very nice effort on what looks like a very intricate camo pattern, especially for this scale. BTW, your vehicle looks fantastic!

It´t good so far! For the figures, try a bit outlinig and edging, that works wonders! The Car looks brillant! It´s a Trumpeter Kit? They have made three or four Japanese Cars so far, and you rendered it fantastic!

The figures are well, too, just a bit more detailiing on the ever dificult to paint camouflage uniforms will bring out the details a bit more.

Show more of your work!

Thank you very much for the input guys. I'll try to do some lining with dark brown, and see what happens.

Frank:: The model is indeed Trumpeter Type 82, and I added to it Eduard very nice PE set. All will be sitted on a small scenic base, which I still need to think of how it will look.

I'm getting better, but stilll has tons of learning and improvement to go.

Here are finished projects:

Yep! And we see, adding one or two figures to a kit is always a great idea! It shows so much life and action! Yoru kits are great, mate, at learning? Well, we all are learning till our last day. And learning modelling stuff is justfun!

Thanks for sharing your top work!
