Hello Mr. Chemicalkenny...

Once again thank your for your comment and share...

Foto Sten Importante.jpg

This on image that we use as reference in Maj. Howard... But as I said before, Maj Howard change the magazine, and is ready to free in rage against enemies... I put the finger in the trigger, because in Special Forces the security is the finger... But this is just an idea...

Your help its outstanding... Your images, comments, ideas allow RPmodels do a different subject... My modeller already have your ideas and comments in a note, and we are doing the changes, to do the a better piece... To do a great Maj. Howard... Because he deserves to be recognize has one of D-Day Heroes...

For me and RPmodels the word Thank You is empty... Because this word isnt enought to express all you do for us... This figure belong to you too, and without your help the final result will be very different... So feel free to help us, because we need it... Once again THANK YOU Sir...

With best regards
Hugo Pereira

Its no problem I am happ y to help.:)
I know this picture, this is elements of 4th parachute brigade entering Oosterbeek, probably 10 para.

You probably think I`m being silly but it would definitely look better with finger off trigger. Definitely no Special forces would do that, even with the bolt closed. The STEN is a blowback weapon so it would be safe but not good practice.
heres are some pics. good luck , its coming together wonderfully.
Hope it helps

if you need refrence for the helmet strap I have some very good pictures.

Also notice the the cocked weapons on the 10 para guys Oosterbeek, they are made ready weapons and so important to keep finger off trigger, in case of negligent discharges.

Another interesting point is you will see a lot of people armed with STEN wear a glove on the left hand, this is because the forend becomes very hot. Also your little finger can become trapped inside the ejection port and the bolt slams shut on it....Flat finger!

Hi Chemicalkenny ,

Many thanks for the references , especially the helmet ...all now in my reference library.

We will look at the figure again based on these

Interesting figure...i hope you ll realize soon the 1.35 scale figure ...i am so interested in this one.......!!!
It will be alone or you ll realize same companion for him...?????

Congratulations.

Mario from Italy.

75mm, ok, 1/35th ok, but sure would love to see 120mm or 1/16th, waaaaaaaaaaaaa..........

Wow, good rendition from what I see, and I'm not an expert on the Brits in WWII, but if I may add, the fig looks great so far, "in progress". For some reason it appears a bit out of kilter in proportion, not facial, but physically. Am I missing something?

I can't put my finger on it just yet, but the leggings are a bit overpowering, missing that usual plume over the leggings themselves, and the body seems too slim. We're missing that body gut that would normally be seen with full gear and "smock flock", if I can "can" a phrase. It appears too thin to me, shallow in the mid section, almost like a plastic toy figure. There's gonna be fluff, at least from the pics, there's fluff in betwixt the body and the flap of the uniform, and gear.

What I will add is the fact that RP Models is willing to listen to the end buyers, the customers, that, in and of itself, is what makes the difference! Ruck On, and I hope to see more productions from RP Models in the future, especially if you guys are willing to listen to the end user! Ruck On!

Cheers, Ski.

Once again your help is fundamental... Without her, this figure dont be so great...

This figure will have a base, but it is in modelling right know... And of course, the have the perfect enviroment to the figure...

In this figure RPmodels try to put rage and strenght in the figure... Maj Howard have to conquer the bridge... But this isnt is a easy task... There are many people tell Maj. Howard is one of the Great Heroes od the D-Day... I hope you liked... All help is important to develop and improve this Great Hero...

Sorry, I didn't realize it was a necro thread. Marco14 is apparently another of this plague of spam posters the forum seems to have been infected with lately.

I've noticed spam posts recently. I apologize to new user marco14 if I am accusing him unjustly but he resurrected a 7 year old thread by quoting it and not contributing anything.
I had originally written something but then redacted it when I realized it was an old and long dead thread. Sorry for any confusion.

Hi guys

Ref Spamners , feel free to report to Mods and we can get it removed and the user banned
