Once again your help is fundamental... Without her, this figure dont be so great...

This figure will have a base, but it is in modelling right know... And of course, the have the perfect enviroment to the figure...

In this figure RPmodels try to put rage and strenght in the figure... Maj Howard have to conquer the bridge... But this isnt is a easy task... There are many people tell Maj. Howard is one of the Great Heroes od the D-Day... I hope you liked... All help is important to develop and improve this Great Hero...

Hi
The gaiters are as everyone says are fastening on the wrong side ,but they are also very wide and should fit much tighter.
The Denison smock appears to be very tight also, the MKii smock was very baggy. the shoulder area and skirt especially look tight. The collar should have evidence of the zip and is just not big enough. I cant quite identify what is by his collar is it a beret or something tucked into his collar?
The glider troops badge is in the wrong position and if his arm was straight down the glider should appear to be in level flight, on you figure it would be nose down.
The helmet strap is very wrong, it fastens with a double ring and not a buckle, also the strap is more spoon shaped on that side, the chin cup is an integral part of the strap and not assembled in pieces as you have it. the helmet net needs looking at too, I think it looks un natural, it fastens with a draw string underneath, so you would see it, but not as it appears on the inner rim of the helmet.
The face veil scarf should appear as very fine square net but it looks like dots at the moment, not sure if that is deliberate or just the limits of the 3D rendering.
the 37 pattern web straps would be visible as well as the L straps for the small pack, that could do with looking at. Also the belt buckle is fastening back to front as I pointed out on the Lovat bust. On the rear of the belt you have the two buckles and above those you have two more, I`m not sure why you would do that, I suppose it would be possible to thread two spare buckles on to the cross straps but I cant see any purpose for that at all.
The Battledress trousers look a bit tubular and should taper a lot more from the seat to the knee.
The MKv sten looks nice! the ejection port is a little facing down though. This is a very bad way to hold a sten, they are notorious for jamming when held by the magazine, im not saying its wrong, you can do it! but its just not good , especially right on the end, nearer the magazine housing would be better but still not good, proper way is around the forend, the foregrip, or around the bridge of the trigger housing. I think a professional soldier would know better than to hold it that way. Can you change the hold on the weapon?

Hi Guys,

As Hugo says we are making all the changes including removing the badges on the smock as I am not 100% sure if they were ever put on by Oxs and Bucks ( the regimental museum have confirmed its very unlikely ) .

As Hugo says we at RP IMPROVE IMPROVE IMPROVE with every step ...with all and acting on all comments .

.....THANK YOU .

Hi Hugo
yes I see ! Changing magazine.. O.K:)
If I were you I would take the finger from around the trigger and having it running straight alongside the trigger guard.
It will look more convincing, you see in the British army you are trained to never have your finger on the trigger unless you are firing the weapon, going through the process or easing springs. :)

Sometimes DZ patches and and specific branch patches were sewn on the Denison as well as qualifications such as glider pilot/pilot wings.
I doubt those badges were worn on a Denison, there again, unless you have access to Howards original Denison, written testament or an eye witness, who is to say?
He was the officer commanding so he could have sewn his name in huge white letters in the style of a football shirt on his back,.. unless you were there, you can`t say its wrong!
Good luck

Hi Chemicalkenny,

On behalf of Hugo thanks for the comments , we wanted Howard in the process of firing hence the finger location , as for the badges etc these have now been taken off with exception of the ID tab on his epaulettes and the rank .....obviously if he was in battle dress they would all be there!! We have put a beret tucked in the smock , showing a bit of beret colour and the Oxs and Bucks badge ( as in the bust which also has the relevant changes done)

I did send a message ref your help not sure if you got it but thanks as always.

Thanks for looking in
