Two strands of o.1omm wire twisted together by hand or motor tool Paul?

First attempt with motor ended up as a disaster, I then went manual - so much time consuming - and finally had another try with the Dremel. And it worked fine. You have to on/off every 2 seconds but it really works.

There is a small drop of liquin in the eye to achieve à deeper effect but what you can see here is all trompe l'œil (especially the white spot).

The blue braid on the top of the drumskins is also trompe l'oeil.
