Regarding the continued availability of the W&N Series 7 Kolinsky Sables..... I switched over to Rosemary & Co. Series 33 Kolinsky Sable brushes (000, 00 & #1) and have been very satisfied with them and think they are every bit as good as the W&N Series 7. I have also ordered several Raphael Series 8404 Kolinsky Sables from Jackson Art Supplies based on recent reviews. Per the reviews they also are as good or better than the W&N's. The Raphael's and the Rosemary brushes are a little cheaper in price to!

Both Rosemary & Co. and Jackson Art Supplies are in England and I have contacted them in the last 24 hours. Both tell me that they can and will continue to ship Kolinsky Sable brushes to the US with no problems. Actually my order with Jackson Art including shipping was cheaper than the US sources for the same brushes.

Couldn't agree more re Rosemary&Co Carl put me onto them and they've never been anything but superb

I've tried Rosemary's brushes but they don't hold their point as long as the W&N series 7 does .It might be because I paint with oils.

That is true, Brian! But considering their price being about half if not one third of W&N series 7 it kind of makes the priceworthy, at least to me that have Humbrol Enamel as staple paint.

I use Jacskons for all of my materials, first class service free post over a certain value and Series 7's at discount prices. I tried Rosemarys but went back to W&N, Rosemarys do however do a wicked 45 degree brush which is great for blending
