Hello.
Two and a half month - it's still ten weeks, so, I've almost keept my promise
Many things happened in the meantime - between others, I moved into a new house . Beacouse of this, I was extremely busy.
Now I'm back in painting, hopefully, for good .
I'm still struggling with this model. Painting torso make me feel a bit like Cinderella. Try to paint all this scales and you will know why :/. Each piece takes its time to paint. And I've made a major mistake - I used grey undercoat. In effect, I must outline each (censored) scale. It's a Sisyphean task. I should have used a black undercoat, that would spare me so much work...
I hope you like my efforts :
Cheers
Have this figure since our last show at my shelf.
So i follow this close. Great tip for the black primer.
So far you are doing some amazing paintjob.
Marc
Hello friends.
My work on this bust is nearly over. In a day or two the figure will be finished.
Today I'd like to show only the torso (head didn't change much since my last post).
I hope you like it.
At last I finished this bust.
It was definetly the most labour - intensive figure I've painted, but now, I must admit, in comparison with my other models it looks pretty impressive.
So, I guess, it was worth painting .
I hope you like it.
Do not hesitate to leave comments if you do (or if you don't )
Thanks for nice comment, Bill. It was rather more work then fun
