Hi Guys

here is an update of the landsknecht, I had to do some surgery, as the jacket was throwing me a little and I found the folds were a little wayward for the position of the jacket and I didn’t like the slits in the front so I masked it up, ground down the outside of the jacket and pushed some putty around to get some different folds and added the frill to the shoulder as well then went for a darker more fitting colour, with some braiding around the fringe. I had to add a little more contrast to the clothing to give better representation, but couldn’t take it too far as it would make the face look too pale and colourless, let me know what you think.

David, I think your Landsknecht is truly coming to life;) I very much like the shading of the clothing, mainly the violet jacket (the violet colour is breathtaking). Good, you have painted it darker, it shows a beautiful contrast with the shirt and the face. This is gonna be an exceptional piece! And a big, big inspiration for me. Looking forward for the hat and feathers:)
best regards,
R.L.

Excellent work Dave.
I like the addition of the fringes. It gives something more and if you don't mind i would add them to the bust myself.
The choice of colors is great.
