Great to see such committed scratch building, something you don't see much of these days. But time to get selfish - for me, it's always a case of where did you get the heads? I'm not too aware of many female heads on the market.

David
Thank you David, the ladies heads I’ve used for the scene come from Sol miniatures, available on eBay or direct from their website. I think they are a South Korean company. Agreed though, not easy to get female heads in larger scale, most certainly would be useful aLso with different facial expressions.

In tidy up and refine mode. Happy with the layout, and added small pins to locate the figures on the chariot to give greater support and longevity for transportation when the build is complete.

After four attempts to change Queen Boudicca’s face I’m almost happy with where it is. So once I’ve refined each piece I can start the painting process.

Hi Marcus - stirling work! If I may make one comment regarding Boudicca's open mouth..? Her bottom jaw/chin may need lowering, if the mouth is open - just an observation, not a criticism!!(y)

Marcus, purely a personal preference but I would lose the feathers from the headdress. A bit too Hollywood for me. That said I am not very knowledgeable on this period.

Nice modelling skills being shown as usual.

Marcus

Now that's a action packed base , lots to get painting on

Ref helmet feathers , still not keen , I know you've researched well but looking at piece they seem to block out mother ? ......just my thoughts ...yes I know again!!!!!?..LOL

All credit to you for the modelling here , skill for sure

Thanks for updates

Hi Marcus

Glad the lurgy is no more and your back painting ......thought you said you were rusty !....looks good to me

Nice work on the chariot and that poor Roman ...needs a plaster or two !

Shield is nice as well

Of course the ladies are equally as effective

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Wow, you've really done an outstanding job on this. Rusty my behind... :-D
I like the shields, and little details like the way the daughter is holding the sword.
