Ninety years ago this year an Italian gentleman called Luigi di Ponti invented
a device that made the world a better place....the Mocha fllter coffee pot. He
sold the patent to Alfonso Bialetti who has over the years been given the credit
for this wonderful piece of kit. No matter, I celebrate both of them every day....
