Hi mates, :)

not a real update but a kind of appendix ... I've thought for a long time to model the most popular italian handguns: Beretta mod. 34 and revolver Bodeo mod. 89.
Here the 3d image, I can't yet post real pictures because I haven't got a macro but I'm very satisfied with the result though the weapons are smaller than one centimeter ... I think they will take part in some of my next figures.

Always thanks for watching!

Really nice, I must get my act together and use my 3D printer, I have had it for nearly 2 years now.

Cheers Simon

Thanks Simon,
since I can't model a whole figure in 3d I use a mix of analogic and digital modeling but 3d printers are ... unbelieveble.

Eppi,

Yes I buy 3D stuff from G&G like rifles and heads which are great, I'm just a technophobe who is intimidated by anything too technical. I keep saying this but I really have to sort myself out and get on with it!

Cheers Simon

Hi Eppi

Those weapons look amazing , all credit to you

I haven’t a 3D printer ...but being a genius I reckon if Simon plugs it in ...........

Thanks for the update

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Hi Nap,
Thanks!
In the big scale of your busts a 3d printer could make marvellous stuff!

Thanks, mate, my "job" was the 3d design and painting (not yet complete), the detail has been provided by the machinery and sometimes it's even too thin to paint. ;)

The design didn't make itself, there is a skill in that, the printer is just a tool like a scalpel or clay shaper, I think it would be very difficult to make these in the traditional method.

Cheers Simon

Yep! just to remark that such a fine detail is due to both the proper 3d design and the machinery; last, but not least to the painting. ;)

let's keep ... printing! :D
