After almost 6 months I am calling this fellow done.

Sculpted in sculpey firm and twine. Painted in oils, inks, acrylics.

Historical background and SBS's can be seen in my vbench.

I will likely stain the base darker. Thanks to John Ballard who awakened me to that fact that you can stain wood quite effectively wit artist's oils.

MASTERPIECE. Likes me more your bust than the picture. Amazing modelling and stunning painting. I can`t say nothing more.
 
Masterwork Colin. Right up there with some of the best portrait sculpting around.
When you factor in your painting it's sensational.... real modelling (y)
