I have nearly done this just a few tweaks here and there, the tricolour rosette and the shako needs some more paint added to the gold lace.
All painted in acrylics except the sword blade (this is why I love metal), this was burnished with a stainless steel needle and given a coat of gloss to seal the metal. I have some detail work on the blueing at the top of the sword.
Whites were painted in a base of Deck Tan (vallejo 986) highs then with ivory (vallejo 918) deep shadows were German beige (vallejo 821) under the coat tails and vest.

Thank you for looking in.

Beautiful work Bob! Again, I love the painting of the whites and thanks for the color into. Definitely one of your best figures. (y)

Cheers,
Ken

Very kind of you Ken, this was passed on by someone on this forum and it works.
It's a lot of work but worth it. The secret is thin layers.
Thanks again.

Hi Bob

Very nice artwork there , the whites have been commented on ..looks great , like the way the plume looks as well

Very nice base presentation as well

Why not enter FOTM with a piece ( will set up later )

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime

Thank you Nap, A weeks work and well worth it.

Good work, Bob. The perennial question...what did you use for the gold lace and cords?

Thank you Richard, for the epaulettes I used Nig oilbrusher Gold shadow was burnt umber and the highs a little ochre added to the oilbrusher Gold, all the other was Darstar Classic Gold, Gold braid and some Dark star brass
